Conclusion:
For this project I used my birthday to create a truth table and K-maps to create a logic expression for the circuit. Then I designed the circuit in MultiSim and used the digital circuit to bread-board. After minor wiring problems I was able to display my birthday on the seven segment display. I learned that there are many different ways to design the same circuit and that you want the most efficient because it is the easiest to build. I also learned that K-mapping made the process simpler and faster. If I had more time I would find the most efficient version of the circuit.
